In a global context shaped by major social, climatic, and economic transformations, the African continent is increasingly a strategic player for the future. With over 60% of its population under the age of 25, Africa is home to immense youth potential, energy, and creativity. However, sustainable and inclusive development in Africa depends on concrete investment in education and skills. Knowledge, learning, and personal development are essential to building more just, resilient societies capable of facing global challenges — from technological innovation to energy transition, from fighting inequality to social inclusion. This session will explore practical steps and “new bricks” for cooperation between Italy and Africa, emphasizing academic and entrepreneurial training and the vision of a young, educated, and empowered Africa as a driver of global progress.
