OPENING HOURS AND ACCESS TO THE FIERA

Fiera opening

The Fiera gates will open at 10:30 AM. We recommend arriving well in advance of the Holy Father's expected arrival (scheduled for 2:45 PM) to ease the flow of visitors.

Entry to the Fiera

To enter the Fiera on 22 August, the standard Meeting rules apply. No specific booking is required for the Pope's visit — only the personal QR Code generated through the "Meeting Rimini" App (available for iPhone, Android and Huawei).

It may be helpful to print your QR Code on paper before arriving at the Fiera, to speed up entry.

The QR Code pass is personal and non-transferable.

At entry points, pass checks will be carried out along with security checks on persons, bags and items brought in, as required by the Authorities.
Items or substances that could cause harm, obstruct checks or block escape routes may not be brought in.

Please note: no storage service is available. Items not permitted cannot be kept and will be disposed of; access to the event will only be granted once such items have been removed.

HOW TO ATTEND THE POPE'S VISIT

The route and where to position yourself

All visitors may freely position themselves along the barriers, at any point of the route, to welcome and greet the Holy Father. The route crosses the entire Fiera for approximately one kilometre; we therefore recommend spreading out across the different halls.
Hundreds of volunteers, easily recognisable and present throughout the day, will accompany visitors, ready to offer information, assistance and support.

Moving around the Fiera

During the visit, the cordoned-off route cannot be crossed; gates will be closed 30 minutes before the Holy Father passes through. Afterwards, the barriers will be gradually removed and normal access to the halls restored as soon as Pope Leo XIV has left the Fiera.

Live broadcast on large screens in the halls

Everyone will be able to follow the entire visit live. Large screens will be set up in every hall and in the freely accessible areas of the Fiera (download the online map for screen locations here).

External traffic: After the visit to the Meeting, Pope Leo XIV will travel to Rimini city centre (event at the Cathedral and Holy Mass at the Port). This will result in the closure of numerous streets in the city. We invite you to visit the Diocese of Rimini website Home - Papa Leone a Rimini for traffic details.

We advise Meeting visitors against attempting to reach the city centre/port for the subsequent papal events, as travel will not be possible due to road closures. As mentioned above, all subsequent events of the papal visit will be visible live on the screens of the Grand Auditorium B7/D7.
