Piccarolo Fabrizio

Director of the Lombardy Foundation for the Environment. Graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, he has held several managerial roles in public administration. Since 2007, he has been Director of the Lombardy Foundation for the Environment. He is responsible for the strategic and operational planning of the Foundation, as well as for institutional relations with public bodies, research institutes, and national, local, and international private entities. He coordinates the administrative and legal management of the organization, its staff, and the Foundation’s communication and promotion plans and activities. He is an expert in external and institutional relations, project management, and management of complex projects.
The Lombardy Foundation for the Environment is a nonprofit scientific organization established in 1986 by the Regional Council of Lombardy. For almost 40 years, FLA has helped those governing and operating in the territory take care of the environment. It offers scientific expertise and design capabilities useful for implementing sustainable choices and policies in favor of biodiversity, conservation, and enhancement of natural heritage. It also develops cultural activities aimed at raising awareness and knowledge on environmental and sustainability issues.
