“The building of a civilization arising out of truth and love". That’s the task that John Paul II left to the Meeting in 1982, during his historic visit. After more than 30 years we keep on working for this, interested in proving, giving testimony and communicating this civilization, committed to create a «culture of encounter, a culture of friendship, a culture in which we can also speak with those who think differently, as well as those who hold other beliefs, who do not have the same faith.»
Since its origin the Meeting has put everything on the desire and the passion that every man has in his own heart, that desire for beauty, truth and justice that becomes a common ground for encounter and dialogue.
Sustaining the Meeting means to participate in the construction of a place where reciprocal enhancement is possible, where diversity is a positive provocation, a help to disclose the truth correspondent to man’s demands.
