Education and training have always been two sectors in which the intergroup for subsidiarity has been committed. In the last year, two legislative proposals have been presented. One for the experimentation of the teaching of non-cognitive skills in middle schools and  one for the training of human capital by companies. The covid 19 emergency has (if it was still necessary) demonstrated the centrality of education and training for the life and development of a country. History showed  that after the major crises, whether it was a war, an epidemic or a collapse of the economy, education and training were  the investments that built a lasting reconstruction. It is not just about schools and their autonomy, it is about encouraging and supporting the  free initiatives that are born in society at every level, because education is a permanent fact.
