For years, Italy’s inner areas have told a story of marginalization. But are they really territories in decline, or do they hold agricultural, landscape and social resources that have yet to be enhanced? Between European cohesion policies, development investments and new strategies for agriculture, the meeting discusses whether and how the inner areas can become a laboratory of the future for the country, rather than a forgotten edge, with the aim of creating a safe, competitive and sustainable energy system.
