How does hospitality turn into genuine integration? This is the central question of this event, which brings together institutional representatives—namely the Minister of the Interior and the President of Emilia-Romagna—and those who, every day, work on the ground to implement concrete solutions. The dialogue starts from a core belief: true social cohesion is built through education and employment. Good intentions are no longer enough if there are no marketable skills and real job opportunities. Because it is precisely in the “deserted places” — those of exclusion and hardship — that we must learn to build with “new bricks”: those made of dignified work, acquired skills, and truly functioning social networks.
