Teggi Annalisa

Annalisa Teggi has a PhD in comparative literature and as an essayist she deals with Anglo-American Dante studies: in 2009 she translated and edited a new edition of Dante’s Epistola a Cangrande (Raffaelli editore). She is a translator of English-language prose and poetry, in particular the works of Gilbert Keith Chesterton: in 2008 she was the author of the first existing translation of The Ballad of the White Horse and has recently published a new translation of Uomovivo (Lindau publisher). She has devoted herself to the study of translations of Dante’s Divine Comedy in the USA, in particular the Canto of Ulysses. Lately, she has been translating C.S. Lewis and Michael O’Brien.

Since 2013, he has collaborated with various newspapers covering news, literature and lifestyle.
She currently collaborates with Tempi magazine, editing a column entitled ‘Casca il mondo’.
From 2019 to 2023, she was one of the teachers at the ‘Pierluigi Cappello’ School of Reading and Creative Writing, promoted by the Brescia Literary Month Association.
In May 2024, her first novel, Prima che sia troppo amarti, was published.
