Fugatti Maurizio

President of the Autonomous Province of Trento since October 2018.
Secretary of the Lega Nord Trentino since 2005, he was a municipal councillor in Avio, where he began his political career. Elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2006, he was a member of parliament during the 15th and 16th legislatures, until 2013, serving as deputy leader of the Chamber of Deputies and leader of the Finance Committee.
Re-elected as a deputy in the 18th legislature of the Republic, which began on 23 March 2018, he held the position of Undersecretary of State for Health from 13 June 2018 in the first Conte government until his election as President of the Autonomous Province.
On 22 October 2023, he was re-elected President of the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige.
