Creative Director of Made Officina Creativa and Head of Shows at the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples since 1998, as an actor he has performed The Merry Wives of Windsor, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Two Venetian Twins and The Taming of the Shrew, also collaborating on television and radio productions for RAI and Fininvest networks. He has worked as a director with Giancarlo Giannini, Alessandro Preziosi, Lucrezia Lante della Rovere, Massimo Popolizio, Gigio Alberti, Stefano Pesce, and Massimo Dapporto. He has directed the theatrical transposition of texts by C.K. Chesterton, T. S. Eliot, A. Camus, G. Leopardi. In 2011 he directed Delitti Rock by and with Ezio Guaitamacchi, from which the TV programme of the same name, aired on Rai2, was based. In 2012, he directed the staging of La Serenata al Vento, an opera by Aldo Finzi with a libretto by Carlo Veneziani, which had its world premiere at the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, in collaboration with the Jerusalem Foundation. In 2103, he directed the play Le confessioni di Agostino with the participation of Sandro Lombardi and directed the first Italian version of Manalive by GK Chesterton produced in collaboration with the Chesterton Institute in New York. He also directed the unpublished work by Shakespeare – Thomas More – and the national premiere of Paul Claudel’s play – Attraverso il mare del desiderio ovvero Le soulier du satin – with Maurizio Donadoni and the co-production of the Teatro pubblico Pugliese. He recently became involved in cinema with the direction of a medium-length film on the Fanin crime in the hinterland of Bologna.
