Earthquakes and natural disasters test people, institutions, and territories, but they also bring out a community’s extraordinary ability to unite, support one another, and start again. From emergency management, often marked by great acts of solidarity, to the long path of physical, social, and economic reconstruction, the meeting reflects on the value of collaboration between citizens, volunteer groups, Civil Protection, and institutions.
