Who we are
Zamagni Stefano

He is the President of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. He is a full professor of Political Economy at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Bologna and Adjunct Professor of International Political Economy at Johns Hopkins University, Bologna.
Over the years, he has received numerous honors, including the St. Vincent Prize for Economics and the Capri Prize for Essays. Since 1999, he has been a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, and since 2004, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts (Modena).
He also serves on the Board of the ISTUD Foundation, the scientific committee of Symbola, and the Center for General and Applied Ethics (CEGA), as well as on scientific committees of several national and international economic journals such as Economia Politica, Italian Economic Papers, and Economics and Philosophy.
He directs the quarterly journal Aretè and is the author of numerous scientific and cultural publications.
