Stefano Bolognini

Stefano Bolognin, born in Bergamo on 7 June 1975 and residing in Milan, is Regional Councillor for Metropolitan City Development, Youth, and Communication in the Lombardy Region, a role appointed by President Attilio Fontana during the XI Legislature.
He graduated from the “Leonardo da Vinci” Scientific High School in Milan and holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University. He began his political career in the early 1990s. From 1997, he served for fifteen years as Councilor of Zone 1 in Milan, also presiding over the Green and Identity Commission, gaining in-depth knowledge of the city’s administrative dynamics.
In 2004, he began collaborating with the Lombardy Regional Council and, between 2004 and 2006, served as territorial assistant to MEP Matteo Salvini. From 2009 to 2014, he was Provincial Councillor for Security, Provincial Police, Civil Protection, Prevention, and Tourism in the Province of Milan, also serving as the Northern League’s Head of Delegation in the Provincial Executive.
With the start of the XI Regional Legislature, he was appointed Councillor for Social Policies, Housing, and Disability (2018–January 2021). He later assumed responsibilities for Metropolitan City Development, Youth, and Communication, including the development of the MIND area – former site of Expo 2015 – metropolitan area program agreements, regional property management, and redevelopment of disused areas.
Since July 2019, he has served as Provincial Coordinator of Milan for the Lega per Salvini Premier. Outside institutional roles, between 2006 and 2009, he was Head of the Cultural Area – Fundraising at the Aeronautics Museum Foundation.
