This third appointment is designed to further the dialogue that began last year with the Exhibition on Work and has continued over recent months. The third theme concerns the conditions under which work does not remain an abstract ideal, but can become a real experience, a different kind of human environment, where one breathes the air that allows one not to be swallowed up by the logic of work and to keep fighting. Is it possible to live with this tension without succumbing to it, and what value is there in tackling it within a company rather than alone?
