Drawing on CESVI’s experience in Ethiopia, the talk explores the role of sustainable agroforestry value chains in strengthening food security, climate resilience and economic opportunities for rural communities. The She-F.E.R.A. project, funded by Italian Development Cooperation and focused on moringa in southern Ethiopia, will be presented as an example of an initiative capable of transforming a local crop with high nutritional value into a driver of development, income generation and market access for small-scale producers, women, young people and micro-enterprises.
