The transitions that society is facing on a global scale call for new responses for new times from the actors in the world of school and university. The demographic shift, with the consequent and progressive decline in the number of students attending schools in Italy (and in Western Europe), is not just a technical datum to be managed with balances and economic criteria, but an opportunity to look at the anthropological foundations of a more personalized and welcoming school system, in which students can find a safe and fertile environment for their integral human development.
