Zagaria Riccardo

Riccardo Zagaria is currently CEO of DOC Pharma, a leading Italian pharmaceutical company in the generic medicines market.

Since March 2026, he has served as Chairman of Egualia, the Italian association representing the generic medicines, biosimilars and value-added medicines industry.
With over twenty-five years’ experience leading pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare companies, he has held positions of increasing responsibility at national and international level in pharmaceutical companies such as Sanofi, Nycomed and Zambon, and has served as managing director of Giuliani S.p.A. and Italchimici.

He was a member of the executive committee of Farmindustria and Chairman of the Pharma Licensing Group Italy association. Furthermore, in the early 2000s, he was one of the initiators and founders of the ‘Banco Farmaceutico’.
