Over the last few months, we have all seen how important research is for the lives of all of us. More than 250 clinical trials are currently underway investigating effective vaccines and treatments against Covid -19 and future pandemics. Significant public and private investments have made this unprecedented effort possible. However, investments alone would not have been enough, because behind every research project there are people who, with determination, have carried out projects amidst a thousand difficulties and limitations. At this year’s Meeting, we want to meet these people and hear about their human journey.
