Terminio Nicolò

Nicolò Terminio is a psychoanalyst, psychotherapist, and psychologist with a Ph.D. in Psychotherapy, practicing in Turin. He works as a psychoanalyst within the Turin team of the Jonas TelemaCo Center and is a member of the Milanese Society of Psychoanalysis and the Group Analysis Laboratory. He conducts teaching activities as an instructor in Research Methodology on the process and effectiveness of psychoanalytic psychotherapy and in Case Construction at the Institute of Applied Psychoanalysis Research (IRPA) in Milan, as well as Psychopathology at the COIRAG School of Psychotherapy in Turin.
His academic background includes a summa cum laude degree in Clinical and Community Psychology from the University of Urbino and a specialization in psychoanalytic-oriented psychotherapy from the Freudian Institute of Rome. His clinical practice encompasses various areas of psychological distress, with particular focus on borderline pathology.
In addition to his clinical work and supervision of students and colleagues, he is the author of numerous books and articles. His most recent volume is *The Borderline Swarm. Trauma, Dysphoria, and Dissociation* (Raffaello Cortina, 2024).
Terminio is also the editorial director of *Dora. Rivista delle Società cittadine di Psicoanalisi* and oversees the “Tyche” series published by IRPA. He is the clinical director of the therapeutic community “Il Ponte” in Nus (Aosta Valley) and is a member of the board of JONAS Onlus.
