Sinigallia Alberto

From Milan, husband, father, President of Fondazione Progetto Arca, and long committed to volunteering and helping the most vulnerable. A keen observer of nature in its many forms, and a sailor, he learned from a young age to observe external conditions and take advantage of them. In 1984, he founded Hydroplants s.n.c., a company specializing in maintenance and hydroponic plants (he graduated as an Agricultural Expert).

In 1994, together with a group of friends, he founded Associazione Progetto Arca, inspired by a simple yet profound question: “What do you want to do with your life?” This marked the beginning of a journey to support the most vulnerable, which led Progetto Arca to become a Foundation in 2008, thanks to his entrepreneurial vision. Today, Fondazione Progetto Arca daily hosts and supports about 1,700 people in its facilities, employs around 200 staff, and has 400 volunteers. His commitment to transforming a mere welfare approach into true responsibility with and toward the most vulnerable is his distinctive hallmark.

He strongly supports and implemented the creation of Progetto Mirasole Impresa Sociale s.r.l., with the sole purpose of professionalizing, training, and integrating even the most disadvantaged. He is co-founder of Fondazione Rosa dei Venti (1997) and founder of Fondazione l’Albero della Vita.
