Ricci Sandro

Sandro Ricci was born in Rimini on January 26th, 1956.
After granting a diploma in Mechanics, with honors, at the technical school in Rimini, first he worked with the trade union of construction workers of Rimini. Then, in 1977, he moved and settled down in Rome to work in the field of public relations for a leading national non-profit organization.
In Rome, he also attended courses of Philosophy and Theology at the Pontifical Lateran University.
In 1986, Ricci joined the Department of States’ exchange program “International Visitor Program” in USA and, thanks to it, he had the chance to deepen his knowledge of the world of cultural and social associations in USA.
From 1995 to 1997 he was charged by the University of Ravenna with holding training courses on the organization of shows and exhibition at the Faculty of Cultural Heritage.
His commitment to the Meeting for Friendship Amongst People dates back to the first edition, in 1980. He collaborated as a volunteer for the first three editions, up to 1982, when he was nominated Director of the Meeting Association, a role he’s still holding by performing a voluntary coordination activity of the 15 operational departments of the Foundation.
