Piloni Francesco

Fr. Francesco Piloni OFM. Born on June 24, 1969, in Crema (CR), Fr. Francesco Piloni is a Franciscan friar of the Order of Friars Minor. He made his First Profession of vows on September 3, 1995, and was ordained a priest on September 21, 2002.

Before entering religious life, he earned a Diploma as a Professional Nurse and a Professional Maturity Certificate as an Assistant for Children’s Communities. He later pursued higher education in psychology, obtaining a degree (Dottore in Psicologia) from the University of Padua.

His academic journey continued with the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, followed by a Master’s in Counseling, specializing in supporting operators in educational and pastoral contexts.

Throughout his religious and professional career, Fr. Francesco has held several important positions within the Province and the Order of Friars Minor, including:

– Vice Master of Students for the two-year philosophical formation (2000–2002) at Farneto
– Treasurer (Economo) at Farneto (2000–2002)
– Provincial Definitore (Provincial Councilor) (2009–2011)
– General Visitor for the Province of San Giacomo della Marca (2016–2017)
– Provincial Vicar since 2014
– Vocational Animator and Coordinator of the Vocational Welcome Fraternity “Casa 3 Compagni” since 2002
– General Visitor to the Province of St. Francis of the Stigmatized (2019)

Most recently, on July 19, 2020, Fr. Francesco was elected Minister of the Province of the Friars Minor of Umbria, overseeing the spiritual and administrative life of the community in that region.

Fr. Francesco’s dedication combines his pastoral, academic, and leadership roles, committed to serving the Church and his Franciscan community with humility and zeal.
