Migliorelli Lucia

Lucia Migliorelli was born in Ravenna on March 4, 1994. At the age of 16, she moved to Civitanova Marche to pursue volleyball. After finishing high school, she enrolled at the University of Ancona, where she earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with honors in 2018. Her thesis, titled “A learning-based model for patient-specific monitoring of glucose levels: advanced methods for the analysis of heterogeneous data to control biomedical parameters”, focused on developing a support application based on machine learning techniques to help young adults manage type 1 diabetes. Since November 2018, she has been a PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Marche under the supervision of Prof. Emanuele Frontoni.
