Medici Giorgio

Giorgio Medici has spent over 30 years in the airport sector with the SEA Aeroporti di Milano group, holding various senior roles. Notably, he served as Operations Manager for Malpensa Terminal 1, Air-Side Services Manager, and later Company Management Director for the aircraft assistance division. From 2009 to 2018, he was SEA’s Head of Customer Care, and from 2018 he became Director of Environment and Safety Manager. Since 2023, he has been Director of Environment and Funded Initiatives, overseeing SEA’s involvement in innovative sustainability projects in the aviation industry.

He has represented SEA at the Airport Council International as chairman of the Airport Facilitation and Customer Service Committee (ACI Europe and ACI World). Since 2022, as a member of the steering group, he coordinates with ACI Europe the working group of European airports within the Alliance for Net Zero Aviation, aiming to define the European roadmap for future hydrogen- and electric-powered aircraft.

Since 2009, he has been a member of Banco Building OdV, now Banco delle Cose, where he serves as Vice President. This initiative, inspired by Banco Alimentare, applies the same methodology to non-food goods not handled by related organizations such as Banco Farmaceutico and BITeB (Banco Informatico Bio Tecnologico)
