Lucchin Laura

Laura Lucchin is the mother of Sammy Basso. After the birth of her son, who suffers from Progeria, she dedicated herself entirely to him. In 2005, together with her husband and some friends, she founded the Italian Progeria Association Sammy Basso (APS), serving as a board member. Since then, she has been in charge of public relations and organizing fundraising events. In February 2026, together with Amerigo Basso and Chiara Pelizzoni, he published the book Sammy: A Life to Embrace (San Paolo Edizioni).
