Lollobrigida Francesco

Francesco Lollobrigida is Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty.
Francesco Lollobrigida was born in Tivoli in 1972. He obtained a classical high school diploma and a degree in Law from the University of Nicolò Cusano. His political engagement began in 1996 when he served as the Provincial Secretary of the Fronte della Gioventù in the Province of Rome, as well as the Regional Representative of CO.BA.R. Lazio during his military service in the Air Force and as a Municipal Councilor in the Municipality of Subiaco until 2000. During the same period, he held various roles within the youth movements of Azione Studentesca and Azione Giovani, as well as in the National Assembly of Alleanza Nazionale Party.
Subsequently, he was elected Provincial Councilor of the Province of Rome in 1998, Councilor for Sports, Culture, and Tourism in the Municipality of Ardea in 2005, Regional Councilor of Lazio in 2006, and later served as Councilor for Mobility Policies and Local Public Transport in 2010. In 2012, he was one of the founding members of the Fratelli d’Italia Party, where he held the position of National Organizer from 2013 to 2018. In the national political elections of 2018, he was elected as a deputy in the Lazio 2 constituency and later became the parliamentary group leader in the Chamber of Deputies. On October 22, 2022, he took the oath before President Sergio Mattarella as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty.
