Del Verme Mario

Mario Del Verme was born in Salerno on 13 April 1962. He is married with two children and lives in Naples. He has a degree in Architecture and is the Sports Coordinator for the Pontifical Scholas Occurentes Foundation. Within the Foundation, he coordinates sports, educational and social projects for the construction of an integrated network (Educational Pact) between all those involved in education: families, institutional bodies, companies and associations. His task is to accompany and guide the development of an integrated working method through the responsibility of each individual actor. In March 2021, he travelled to Iraq on behalf of the Scholas Foundation with Pope Francis for the programme ‘Sport as a response to the educational and inclusive emergency’ in the city of Erbil at the University of Tisk and in the city of Baghdad. In 2020, he was awarded the FIGC Grassroots Awards 2020 in the ‘Best Grassroots Leader’ category, an event created to celebrate clubs, managers and projects that have distinguished themselves for their work in the 2019-2020 sporting season.
