Emilio Colombo

After graduating in Economics from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, he obtained an MSc in Economics with distinction and a PhD in Economics, both from the University of Southampton.
From 2000 to 2016 he first served as a researcher and then as Associate Professor of Political Economy at the University of Milan-Bicocca. Since 2016 he has been Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
He is the author of numerous international publications and has delivered lectures and seminars at more than 50 universities abroad. His research interests include international economics, macroeconomics, applied economics and labour economics.
