Mayor of Genova since 26th June 2017.
During the past two years before his election he was the sole director of Liguria digitale, a company which develops the digital strategy of the region, putting his vast experience – the result of his past work experiences – to good use. In his career he had roles at the head of some leader companies of biomedical and chemical sector between Europe and the USA: from the middle of the ‘80s until the end of the ‘90s he worked for 3M; from 1999 to 2016 he worked for Eastman Kodak Company and Carestream Health, where he was the President. Despite the large amount of tasks related to his role as mayor, he doesn’t quit his big hobbies: climbing, hiking, going to the beach with his family.
