Alfredo Maria Becchetti

Alfredo Maria Becchetti, born in Rome on December 1, 1968, is a well-known Italian professional and academic, currently serving as President of Infratel Italia.

After obtaining a degree in Law from the University of “La Sapienza” in Rome in 1991, he began his career as a notary, opening his practice in Rome in 1996.

Becchetti has held numerous academic positions, teaching at the School of Specialization for Legal Professions of the Universities “La Sapienza” and “LUISS” in Rome, as well as at the Notarial Schools of Rome and Perugia. He has been a member of several commissions of the National Council of Notaries, including the Foreign and International Affairs Commission and the commission responsible for drafting the Community Regulation Rome I on contractual obligations.

In addition to his academic and notarial career, Becchetti has also held significant roles in the sports sector, serving as a judge of the Federal Court of Justice of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). As of February 2026, he was appointed President of GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici).
