Davide Barzi

Davide Barzi, a scriptwriter, writes for the titles *Dylan Dog*, *Nathan Never* and *Dampyr* published by Sergio Bonelli Editore, for whom he has also published the story *Il Cuore di Lombroso* (art by Francesco De Stena) in the *Le Storie* series. For ReNoir Comics, he edits the Don Camillo comic series, winner of the Fede a strisce award and the Mondo Piccolo Prize, and also published in France, Germany and South Korea. He is also the creator of the Father Brown comic series, as well as the crime series that began with Unico indizio le scarpe da tennis. He is the author of G&G, a graphic novel dedicated to Giorgio Gaber (winner of the Fullcomics Award for Best Graphic Novel), illustrated by Sergio Gerasi, which has spawned a stage show that has been performed in Italy and abroad.

Together with Paolo Maggioni, and with illustrations by Davide Castelluccio, he created *Giacinto Facchetti – Il rumore non fa gol*. Together with Claudio Riva, and with illustrations by Alessandro Ambrosoni, he created *Giorgio Strehler – Un fumetto da tre soldi*. Together with Fabiano Ambu and Rosa Puglisi, he brings the adventures of Josif to life, and together with Luca Usai, those of Jorge Sànchez & Dragòn LI. With Oskar, in addition to No Name, he created the strip Ernesto and humorous panels for Joker Editions, as well as the book Sessantotto e dintorni. Together with Gianfranco Florio and Luca Usai, he creates the monthly strip Paputsi for the magazine Scarp de’ tenis. Le Regine del Terrore (BD Editions), a biography of the creators of Diabolik, has already had two print editions and one digital edition. Carta Canta – I fumetti nella musica, la musica nel fumetto (Ed. Cartoon Club), produced with Stefano Gorla and Paolo Guiducci, won the Franco Fossati Award for best national essay on comics. He is also the author of the illustrated book of gothic nursery rhymes Il teatrino delle bambole morte, with illustrations by Giovanni Rigano.
