Albanese Daniele

CEO and Co-Founder of PeopleGateway | Development Economist | Expert in migration policy.

He founded PeopleGateway, an innovative start-up and social enterprise dedicated to international labour mobility, which integrates the entire process into a single, legal and structured framework – from candidate recruitment and training to administrative procedures and social and professional integration. Previously, he led the EU programmes at Talent Beyond Boundaries, developing labour mobility pathways for refugees in Europe and beyond.

He has extensive experience in the field of legal and safe entry routes from countries of first asylum (Africa, Central Asia, the Middle East) and, for the Office of Migration Policy and International Protection at Caritas Italiana, he coordinated humanitarian corridors (UNHCR Nansen Award), university corridors and humanitarian evacuations. He is a member of the Board of ICMC Europe / SHARE Network and the Advisory Board of the COSME project, and the author of publications on migration policy, including with ISPI.
