«Photography is a passion for me, because it's the language I chose, every photograph is a message. I
love people»(Tony Vaccaro)
Tony Vaccaro’s photographic art is able to make an immediate connection to everyone. Everyone feels positive, good and hopeful for the future from the humanity and spontaneity of every frame. The life of photographer Tony Vaccaro is closely intertwined with the historical and cultural events of the last seventy years: emigration, the second world war, liberation from enemy forces, new people in politics and recent events such as the twin towers tragendy. A life spent with his inseparable Argus C3 camera: from war photojournalist to fashion photographer, in the constant search for the authenticity of the human face and beauty in all its forms. Thanks to the magic of photography, Vaccaro becomes an authentic witness of the values, traditions and history that he went through. Tony Vaccaro can be defined as a storyteller of the world: each frame is inextricably linked to an actual experience, to a historical event, to a human relationship and to a memory of his personal history.
