“Spirto Gentil” is a proposal of musical listening, aiming to enhance a repertoire nowadays forgotten or appreciated by only few. The series is situated in that great Christian tradition that, throughout twenty centuries, has been able to value the most sincere expressions of the human experience, whatever the original culture was. The first appointment with “Spirto Gentil” is dedicated to Russian Popular songs: an engaging proof of what does it mean for a people to communicate the richness of its own life, that is, the meaning of things and events.
