IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF AUGUSTINE

The aim is to tell the story of the Saint of Hippo, after the first visit of a Pope “son of Augustine” to Algeria, his land. His activity as Bishop in Roman Africa, where he fought against heresies, and his invitation to Christians to share the journey with other men. “Here,” said Leo XIV on Algerian soil, “Saint Augustine loved his flock, seeking truth with passion and serving Christ with ardent faith”.
