It is hard to imagine the suffering of those living under constant threat and attack, those wounded in body and soul by war, those crying out for peace and justice without perceiving a response. How can one live through such hardship without succumbing to bitterness? What sustains a passion for life when friends and family are dying? From where does the strength to help the hopeless arise? These are the questions we wish to explore with two witnesses who tirelessly build where all is destroyed, who hope “against all hope.”
