A TALE OF LOVE AND FATE
The story of Beren and Lúthien

From a group of friends united by a shared passion for Tolkien’s stories arose the desire to tell a love story by going beyond the boundaries of simply reading a text, transforming the tale of Beren and Lúthien into a provocation for our present time.

Why propose this fairy-tale narrative today, in a world afflicted by crises and wars? Because Tolkien, through the sacrifice and the beauty of this love story, still manages to challenge us to seek that sliver of light which, in the deepest darkness, can bring back hope and disperse the shadows. At the heart of the project lives the conviction that this tale is far more than an ancient fable; it is an invitation to question ourselves deeply about our present: does there still exist, today, a Love capable of “moving the sun and the other stars”?
