HAITI. THE STRENGTH TO GET BACK UP

For years now, Haiti has seemed to be plunging into an increasingly dramatic crisis, marked by political instability, widespread violence and difficulties in accessing essential services. Yet this country also possesses crucial resources for recovery: a dynamic civil society, strong community ties, young people to be trained, and project experience demonstrating how it is possible to address immediate needs whilst maintaining a long-term vision. This meeting will bring together representatives from the highest Haitian and Italian institutions and those working on the ground on a daily basis, to promote a better understanding of this complex reality.
