Starting from a discovery developed over years of university research, the talk reconstructs how Dante composed the greatest poetic work of the West. From the hidden architecture, rediscovered only 700 years later, to the story of the cantos found again in Florence while Dante was in exile and had already abandoned the project, to those found in 1322 one morning in a room in Ravenna by his son Jacopo: the lecture follows the stubborn, technical, and faith-filled gesture by which Dante gave shape and body to the Love of a lifetime.
