The Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard (1813-1855) significantly influenced the culture of the entire twentieth century and has never stopped making his voice heard. As a thinker and as a person, he devoted himself to exploring the constitutive factors of existence, giving them full philosophical dignity: singularity, the self, inwardness, in a path that moves from despair toward the recognition of the possibility of faith, a faith that means love, silence — in contrast to the clamor of the world — and finally joy. The dialogue with the foremost experts on his work aims to show, in the age of the digital revolution, the great relevance of Kierkegaardian thought and its profound usefulness in answering the question: what does it mean to safeguard the human, and what can we not lose?
