JUPITER’S ASTONISHING MAGNETOSPHERE AND ITS POLAR AURORAS

Polar aurorae are among the most beautiful shows that nature offers. What are the physical processes that produce them on our planet and on Jupiter? We shall briefly introduce Earth’s polar aurorae and compare them with those of Jupiter as they appear in the image taken by the James Webb Space Telescope.
