Zeni Cristina

Cristina Zeni has been teaching literature at the Albert Einstein State High School in Turin since 2008. Since 2012, she has been working with the head teacher as a liaison for the language and humanities programmes. After graduating in Romance Philology from the University of Turin in 2004, she decided to devote herself to teaching, fascinated by Don Giussani’s educational proposal: ‘Take everything away from us. Send us out naked, but leave us free to educate!’.
Always passionate about theatre, she has produced several plays throughout her career, involving numerous high school students. Among the works staged are The Merchant of Venice and Macbeth by W. Shakespeare, Miguel Manara by O. V. Milosz, The Annunciation to Mary by P. Claudel, Be Realistic, Ask for the Impossible, a human journey from religious meaning to faith.
