Villa Flavio

Since November 2021, Flavio Villa has been Country Managing Director of Hitachi Energy in Italy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A., the group’s Italian subsidiary. He also serves as Oversight Country Lead for Greece and Israel and as Chairman of the Board of Hitachi Energy Israel Ltd.

He joined ABB in 1986 to manage exports of low- and medium-voltage products. Since then, he has held increasingly senior roles, mainly in sales, before becoming Country Managing Director of ABB Power Grids S.p.A. in 2019.

Throughout his career, he has worked in international contexts, including as manager of the Medium Voltage Local Business Unit in Spain, contributing to the development and implementation of advanced technologies for electrical systems across various markets and geographical areas. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of CESI SpA.

He is married and has two children.
