Vicari Carmelo

Don Carmelo Vicari was born in 1952 in San Giovanni Gemini in the province of Agrigento. In 1967, his family decided to settle permanently in Lombardy, in the municipality of Vergiate. He attended high school in Gallarate and university at the Catholic University of Milan, graduating with a degree in philosophy. He entered the seminary in Bergamo in 1975 and completed his final year in 1980/81 in Palermo, where he was ordained a priest. He carried out his ministry as a parish priest and leader of the CL community.

He is currently Visitor of the Third Pastoral Region of the Fraternity of CL, which includes eight regions of central and southern Italy.
