Is the most successful Czech writer of the past few years, curator, co-organizer of the Meeting Brno Festival. Her books are being translated to 13 languages and awarded both in Czechia and abroad. Her novel „The Expulsion of Gertha Schnirch“ (2009), a story of a young German-speaking lady, forced to leave her city and country after WW II., has had an extraordinary public impact and helped to prepare the social atmosphere for the 2015 Brno „Year of Reconciliation“.
