Emanuele Tavelli

CEO and founder of WINET S.r.l., an Italian company specialising in the development of IoT systems for environmental monitoring, precision agriculture and the prevention of hydrogeological risks. For over twenty years, he has led projects focused on the design of smart sensor networks, cloud-based platforms for data analysis and innovative solutions for optimising water resource use.

Throughout his career, he has coordinated the development of technologies deployed in numerous national and international contexts, collaborating with research bodies, universities, public organisations and industrial partners. He is committed to creating systems that integrate sensor technology and telecommunications to support data-driven decision-making and increase the resilience of agricultural and territorial systems to climate change.

He participates in international cooperation projects, including those promoted by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), contributing to the dissemination of innovative technologies for the sustainable management of natural resources.
