Who we are
Lara Tagliabue

Lara Tagliabue is a professional with experience in sport for social development, specialising in the education and inclusion of vulnerable young people. She has been working with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation for 10 years, in the role of Programme Manager. In this role, she oversees the creation and development of networks between public and private sector organisations, third sector bodies and sports organisations to implement projects that harness sport to support educational and inclusive processes, with a particular focus on gender barriers.
She is a member and trainer at Slums Dunk Odv, an association that promotes basketball as an educational tool and a means of developing life skills in vulnerable communities in Kenya, Zambia and Cambodia.
She was a basketball player (Serie A1, A2, national youth teams) and a youth coach.
She holds a degree in International Political Science, and Master’s degrees in Counselling and Psychomotor Therapy. She is a lecturer at the Catholic University for the workshop ‘Sport for Counselling and Cooperation’.
She collaborated as a ‘sports expert’ with the Minister for Disability, Locatelli, during the Expo Aid 2026 event.
