Simeone Domenico

Full Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan), where he teaches Family Pedagogy at the Milan and Brescia campuses. He is Dean of the Faculty of Education; Director of the Observatory for Education and International Cooperation; and Director of the UNESCO Chair in ‘Education for Human Development and Solidarity among Peoples’.

He is Director of the second-level Master’s programme in ‘Intercultural Dialogue and International Cooperation: Scenarios for a New Humanism in Times of Crisis’. He is Chair of the Scientific Committee of PinAC (Aldo Cibaldi International Art Gallery of Childhood).

He edits the journals *Scuola Italiana Moderna*, *Scuola e didattica* and *Quaderni di Pedagogia della Scuola*, published by La Scuola, and the *Parole della Pedagogia* series, published by Scholé/Morcelliana. He is the scientific director of the International Festival of Education, held every two years in the city of Brescia.
