Severgnini Matteo

Matteo Severgnini has been Rector of the Regina Mundi School in Milan since January 2023. With a degree in Philosophy and History from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, he has dedicated his life to the younger generations, convinced that education of the heart is the most pressing need of our time.
Since 2012, he has directed the Luigi Giussani High School in Kampala, Uganda, for over ten years, helping to build an international network of educational collaboration with institutes and universities in Europe, Africa and America, including the Catholic University of Milan, the University of Notre Dame, the Catholic University of America, and numerous secondary schools.
Founder of cultural initiatives such as the “Centocanti” association and promoter of the “Centocanti per Milano” event, he was also president of the university association “Oltre il suono”, committed to recounting human beauty through music. His educational experience combines passion, vision and continuous dialogue with reality.
