Seghezzi Francesco

President of the ADAPT Foundation and Visiting Scholar at the Catholic University of America, Visiting Fellow at Cornell University’s Industrial and Labour Relations School, and Visiting Fellow at the University of Chicago. From 2017 to 2023, he was Director of Adapt University Press, Head of Communications and External Relations at ADAPT, and ADAPT Research Fellow. He was a research fellow at the ‘Marco Biagi’ Department of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia from 2017 to 20223, focusing on the relationship between work and technological transformation, including from the perspective of industrial relations in a sociological context. His research topics include the analysis of employment dynamics in the labour market, with a particular focus on young people and the relationship between work and technological innovation, with a particular focus on the phenomenon of Industry 4.0 and its impact on manufacturing work. He is a columnist for several newspapers, in particular Il Foglio and Avvenire.
